Pietree has LOTS of fresh kale from the greenhouse right now. A delicious and nutritious snack that can be made from this very healthy green are the beloved kale chips. There are so many variations on flavors that can be added to these crispy treats!
Here is a spicy variation with a bit of a kick!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Wash 2 bunches or 1 pound of kale. Tear leaves off ribs in large two or three bite pieces.
Toss kale with 1 TB olive oil, 1/4 tsp. chili powder, and 1/8 tsp of salt. You can adjust the seasoning to your personal taste.
Bake 10-14 minutes, until crispy. Enjoy!
