We grow big, sweet, easy to pick highbush blueberries and they are abundant this year. Our blueberry fields are open for pick-your-own daily from 10am-2pm. Always call the farmstand to check field conditions and availability before heading up to pick.
This weekend, August 9th and 10th, our farmstand will be stocked with tasty blueberry treats and blueberry recipes. All in-house made blueberry treats will be 10% off both days. We have everything from blueberry muffins to blueberry fudge to blueberry-jalepeno jam available.
Saturday, August 9th from 11am-2pm join us for a berry sweet deal! Get $1.00 off every pint or pound of blueberries you pick and $1.00 off large pizzas when purchased together. Great blueberry recipes will be available to take home to help you make the best out of your harvest! Come on up and enjoy a pizza picnic and fresh picked blueberries on the farm!
Fresh from the field this week we have an abundance of blueberries, six varieties of zucchini, green and yellow snap beans, pickling cucumbers, and red and green cabbage. We continue to have kale, kohlrabi, onions, and leeks in ample supply. We are harvesting the first of the eggplant this week and soon ending our harvest of peas until the next succession crop ripens in September. We continue to have a limited supply of broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, and chard.
Fresh from the bakery is Dilly Onion Bread. This bread of the week is a yeasted loaf with caramelized onion, Pietree grown dill, and yogurt from Tide Mill Creamery. Grab a loaf with a jar of Raye's Mustard in our farmstand and pair with smoked ham, swiss cheese and fresh greens for a flavorful sandwich.
