We're excited about our second annual fairy and elf tea party Saturday, July 12th from 11am-3pm!
We all love our flowers and trees, nurture the earth and laugh with delight as we dance with the dragonflies. Come join our celebration of our elf and fairy friends with the annual Fairy & Elf Tea Party!
Fairies and elves have lived in orchards for as long as people have planted them. The flowers that feed the bees and butterflies, the meadow that supports dragonflies and hosts the pirate bug, feed and house the fairies and elves as well as their friends. Like all of us, elves and fairies are stewards of the earth, nurturing the health and beauty of our planet.
Here at the orchard we spend a lot of time outdoors among some of the fairies favorite plants. We often see and hear fairies and elves rustling in the flowers or flying in the apple trees. Their presence reminds us to take care of the earth and appreciate the delicate and fragrant blooms through out the year.
When you visit the orchard make sure to pay close attention. Look for sparkles and listen for soft giggles. Fairies and elves are very small and quick but if you look very closely you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one.
We have gathered snapshots of some of the fairies we have seen here and even located a few elf doors! Take a walk around the orchard and see how many fairies and doors you can find. Remember to keep your eye out you may have one fly right by you!
We know fairies and elves love soup made of woodsy findings, soft petals, and sparkling glitter. When humans make them this treat they are known to grant wishes! We have gathered some of the fairy and elf’s favorite things and will concoct a magical soup for all of our fairy friends. We will leave it out for the fairies and elves in hopes of our wishes coming true! Meanwhile, we will feast on delicious treats like mini cupcakes, brownie bites, tiny cookies, bread knot rolls, and tea sandwiches.
Wear your wings and come experience the magic fairies and elves bring to our orchard July 12, 2014 11am-3pm. $5 per child, adults accompanying children free. There will be fairy tea and elven delicacies served and fairylicious fun to be had!
