Yes! Apple picking opens Friday, August 30th at 10 a.m.!
We pick MacIntosh apples at the beginning of the season. At the season’s start, they are very hard and very tart. They sweeten a little later.
Stay tuned for which other varieties we have available to pick.
Saturday August 31st – Monday September 2 is our Harvest Festival, from 10am-4pm. Music and face painting, 10am-2pm. Apple picking available during that time. Build-your-own scarecrow. Wagon rides. Family-friendly fun!
Maine Apple Sunday is September 8th. We welcome John Tercyak in concert from 12-3pm that day, offering up Civil War era and Celtic fiddle tunes, joining the apple picking and hay maze fun. Apple picking, wagon rides, and hay maze from 10am-4pm.
During apple picking season, we offer wagon rides during the weekends – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday holidays.
Our wood-fired oven is turning out delicious lunch-time pizzas and artisan breads. Apple cider donuts, jams and jellies, and wonderful late summer produce are in our farmstand.
If you have not been to Pietree before, please check out our directions page, and not rely on computerized searches of maps or GPS for our address. There are many Waterford Roads in our immediate area, depending on the magic of which town line you have recently passed, and these confuse those systems.
