We continure to have a great selection of fall favorite foods in our farmstand. We have several types of potatoes, eight varieties of winter squash, popping corn, yacon, and Jerusalem artichokes available this week. Onions and garlic are still in great supply. From our greenhouse we have mixed salad greens and asian greens in limited quantities.
From the orchard this week we have a great selection of late-season and Heirloom apples. Pinova, Dudley Winter, Black Oxford, Empire, Cox Orange Pippin, Freyburg, and Stark's Jumbo is just a taste of the apple varieties available in our farmstand this week. We continue to have a great supply of the ever popular Cortland, Macintosh, and Macoun apples available.
People love our Roasted Garlic Sourdough so much we are featuring it another week. This bread has a crispy exterior and is baked outside in our wood-fired brick oven. The inside is soft and bursting with flavor form the gems of roasted Pietree garlic baked into it. Pair this bread with a hearty, fall soup or make a new twist on a grilled cheese!
We have the newest flavor of pietree granola out this week: Pumpkin Cranberry Ginger! This is a deliciously crunchy granola packed with pumpkin flavor, dried cranberries, crystallized ginger and pecans. Excellent with yogurt or over ice cream for a lovely fall treat!
